The Stephen Leacock Associates are the guardians of the legacy of Canada’s legendary humourist [and economist], Stephen Leacock. Each spring, in Orillia [the mythic Mariposa nestled on the shores of Lake Couchiching], the Associates host the annual Leacock Prize for Humour on Leacock’s estate–an event marked by laughter and the warmth of Mariposan hospitality.
