About Jane Brierley
Jane Brierley was the 1992 recipient of the Felix-Antoine Savard Award given by the Translation Center of Columbia University in New York for her translation White Desert (Véhicule Press), a collection of short stories by Quebec writer Jean Ethier-Blais. In 2003, her translation, Memories of a Less Travelled Road: A Historian's Life by Marcel Trudel, won the Governor General's Literary Award for Translation.
