Sadiqa de Meijer
Sadiqa de Meijer’s books include the poetry collections Leaving Howe Island (Governor General’s Award Finalist 2014) and The Outer Wards (Raymond Souster Award finalist 2020), and the memoir alfabet/alphabet (Governor General’s Award Winner 2021). Her work recurrently explores landscape, language, motherhood, inner lives, visual art, and the long wakes of colonialism and migration. She lives in Kingston, Ontario.
