This volume does not pretend to reflect or offer any orthodoxies in Holocaust scholarship or Holocaust education—it intentionally deals with a variety of subjects and perspectives as offered by a variety of researchers and survivors. Because the Holocaust casts a wide shadow, it falls within the ambit of many areas of human thought. So Others Will Remember is a combination of history and memory, or more precisely, of historical analysis and painful recollection.
