David McGimpsey David McGimpsey is the author of three collections of poetry—Dogboy, Lardcake, and Hamburger Valley, California, all published by ECW—and a critical study of baseball, Baseball: America’s Pastime and Popular Culture (Indiana UP). He teaches creative writing at Concordia University and is a member of the rock band Puggy Hammer.
