Susan Gillis Susan Gillis has lived in Halifax and Victora, and now lives and writes in Montreal. Her first book of poetry, Swimming Among the Ruins (Signature Editions), was published in 2000, and was followed in 2002 by Volta (Signature Editions), which won the Quebec Writers' Federation's A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry in 2003. Her work has appeared in journals and anthologies including You and Your Bright Ideas: New Montreal Writing (Vehicule). She teaches at John Abbott College. |
