David Fennario David Fennario is a playwright and a novelist from the Verdun-Pointe St Charles district of Montreal. He was the first writer-in-residence at Montreal's Centaur Theatre. Fennario's Balconville, a bilingual play about French and English working class neighbours enjoyed massive popular and critical success. He later wrote Banana Boots, a memoir/performance piece about taking Balconville to Belfast. Fennario has won the Chalmers award twice and received the Prix Pauline Julien from the United Steelworkers' Union. |
